Summer poem

Green grass,
Warm Sun,
Kids about,
Having fun.

Water flows,
Rivers rage,
Love abounds,
For every age.

And barbeques,
Have a dog,
Or maybe two.

At last has come
Holding hands
With number one.

Singing birds,
Gracious charms,
Mowing lawn,
Sunburned arms.

Sun is set,
Stars to rise,
Fire glistens,
In your eyes.

Cuddle up,
On the beach,
Driftwood fires,
Kiss on cheek.

Watch the tide,
Crashing down,
Enjoy the love,
I have found.

Marry me,
In the sand,
Be with me,
At the park,
Marry me,
Beneath the stars
Be with me,
In my heart.

Piano sound

Listen to the sound,
That our founding fathers found,
So profound, this sound.
Let your fingers move,
Let the melodic sound soothe,
Just chill out and groove.
It will comfort you,
Despite what you have been through,
Despite what you do.

Still I Rise

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
‘Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I’ll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don’t you take it awful hard
‘Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines
Diggin’ in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I’ve got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history’s shame
I rise
Up from a past that’s rooted in pain
I rise
I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

flckan i hennes drömmar

hennes livs kärlek

vackra, gudomliga och älvliknande E

utan henne, inget de

ansiktena närmade sig varann tills näsorna nuddades vid

läpparna kittlades vid närmsta andetag

de gick hem till E

hand i hand

runt omkring dem sov allihopa

men E och A sov ingenting den natten

natten fylldes istället utav kyssar och smekningar

vackra samtal och komplimanger

till flickan med solens kyla och vindens värme

I dream of floating away on a cloud
I dream of catching a falling star
I dream of my prince charming
I dream of how I’ll save him from the dragon
I dream of cows on the moon
And pink grass

I dream of old ladies knitting socks
I dream the twelve Olympians are real
I dream I’ll meet them someday
I dream of vast sugar cane fields
I dream of a bed of roses
And how prickly that must be

I dream of firefly friends
I dream of a lighting bug show
I dream of riding a striped horse down the aisle
I dream of hot air balloons
I dream of polar bears
And penguins

I dream of snow
I dream of rain
I dream of summer
I dream of fall
I dream of day
And night

I dream of how I’ll be queen of the Martians
I dream of how I’ll love my subjects
And people always said I belonged on another planet

I dream of love
I dream of faith
I dream of hope
I dream of culture
I dream of life
And I dream sweet dreams.

If I had a choice between one year of life with you
or a hundred years of living, then it would be the best year of my short life
I throw 2 fingers up to say always and forever,
my eyes for the ”I” in i love you,
my smile shown for the happiness and ”love” you make me feel,
so all i have to say now is…..
Age of six
He loved her so
And everyday
He’d let her know

”I love you Grace”
He’d say each day
She’d just laugh
And run away

Till one day
She turned around
And sat with him
On the playground

”I’m sorry Chris
I don’t love you
You’ll find someone else
Who loves you too”

Highschool came
They met again
They laughed about
The things back then

They began to date
And fell in love
He got the girl
That he’d dreamed of

But when college came
Everything changed
They were far apart
With lives rearranged

”We’ll be fine Grace”
But she had doubt
She turned and said
”It won’t work out”

”I’m sorry Chris
I can’t love you
You’ll find someone else
Who loves you too”

In their twenties
They met again
They laughed about
The things back then

He took her hand
They began to dance
Their old romance

Two years later
She became his wife
They’d be together
All of their life

They went on a drive
When it was no longer light
They drove down the roads
Of the starry night

The music came on
She started to sing
He whispered, ”Grace
You’re my everything”

But then suddenly
In one big flash
Headlights shone
As their car crashed

He saw her laying
Down on the ground
He felt his tears
Start rolling down

”Grace…” he cried
She took his hand
”I have to leave…
Please understand”

”I love you so much
It’s always been true
But you’ll find someone else
And you’ll love again too”

”No,” he cried
”It’s always been you
I don’t want someone else
I only want you”

And there on that street
Is where he cried
Hugging his love
As she slowly died

Quotes that I find awesome

Quotes from movies:

Ernest Hemmingway once wrote the world is a great place and worth dying for. I agree with the second part – Morgan Freeman, ”Seven”

Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it – Ferris Bueller, ”Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”

Happiness is only happiness if there is a violin-playing goat – Hugh Grant, ”Notting Hill”

Quotes about love:

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” ― Lao Tzu

“Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.” ― Robert A. Heinlein

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” ― Mother Teresa

“I am good, but not an angel. I do sin, but I am not the devil. I am just a small girl in a big world trying to find someone to love.”
― Marilyn Monroe

“People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.

A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.

A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master…”
― Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

Quotes about happiness:

“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

“You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.”
― Albert Camus

Maroon5 – She Will Be Loved

And you and me also…I’m sending all of love to you, my friends! This is for you my love:

I love the way you look at me,
Your eyes so bright and blue.
I love the way you kiss me,
Your lips so soft and smooth.

I love the way you make me so happy,
And the ways you show you care.
I love the way you say, ”I Love You,”
And the way you’re always there.

I love the way you touch me,
Always sending chills down my spine.
I love that you are with me,
And glad that you are mine.
